Applied Practice Lead: Research and Evaluation

Gabrielle is a Child and Family Psychologist with over 10 years experience working in mental health settings with young people and their families. She likes to see young people achieve and to walk with them to overcome barriers to them flourishing and living a life they want to live.

E Tū Tāngata is exciting. The plan to initiate a strengths based conversation to the heart of NZ communities through youth, their families/whanau and schools. Our young people can be vulnerable and engaging in the E Tū Tāngata conversation will bring a protective factor to their development.

“E Tū Tāngata is so needed in our culture. Without meaning to we have created a culture that encourages people to think less of themselves and limits their sense of what they can achieve. E Tū Tāngata is a movement that seeks to “right the ship” and encourage a greater sense of self-worth, mutual support, and care for others. It is exactly what we need to help our people flourish, and help our communities thrive.”
